What do you do when you have loads of paint from a groovy project leftover on your palette? I always end up squeezing out more paint that I need and always felt terrible tossing it out so I put on my DIY diva thinking cap and went hunting through my cupboards.
Grab a plain vase (or any boring glass item), check out my simple upcycling solution so that paint doesn’t go to waste and discover how to easily paint glass!
It’s incredibly easy to upcycle those plain glass items you have at the back your cupboards (or hiding in the storage room) with just a bit of leftover paint and imagination!
Grab your clean glass item, the leftover paint, a brush and masking tape.
Tape off an area on the glass with simple pattern or shape. I created a fun little zigzag around the top of my vase.
Paint the glass with the leftover paint and let dry completely – seriously, that’s all there is to it! (give it a coat of spray varnish if desired)
Once dry, remove the tape and enjoy your re-loved glass (or fill it with nifty gifts and give it away!)
